MBS and Certifications

• Buckle Breaking Strength (twisted and deformed but not broken): 12 kN
• Slippage of webbings under load of 20kN: 1 cm (maximum permissible slippage: 2 cm)
• Webbing Breaking Strength (single strand): 8kN
• Static Breaking Strength of the tie-in point in conformity to EN 12277: 22kN (minimum requirement by EN 12277 is 15kN)
• EN 12277 tested and certified

Expected Life Span:

• Shelf life (not used even once): 3 years
• Occasional usage: 3 years
• Excessive / frequent usage such as for commercial activities: 1 year
• Limited Warranty: 2 years but shall be void in case of equipment damage arising out of product misuse

NOTE: If you see any sign of wear and tear in the harness, it is better to retire the equipment.

Each piece of equipment is meticulously inspected and a batch is tested for breaking strength (destructive) before shipping.
