Rated 5.00 out of 5 based on 1 customer rating
(1 customer review)

899.00

  • Compact and packable rain cover for day packs and rucksacks up to 40 liters holding capacity. It also features hood and shoulder flaps. These additional features not only keep your head and shoulders dry but also prevents the rain water from seeping through the gap between your back and your backpack, thus keeping the pack dry from all directions unlike regular rain covers. If you do not wish to use the hood, you can simply roll it in and just use the pack cover.
  • Weighs only 150 grams and packed size is 15 x 15 x 8 cm
  • Made from PU coated Polyester fabric.
  • Fully heat taped seams for excellent waterproofing
  • Hook and Loop attachments are provided at three different locations: 1) to secure the cover to the backpacks’ shoulder straps  2) to secure the hood on your head and around your chin   3) To secure the shoulder flaps around your shoulder

This is a great product. Period. Very thoughtful design and more importantly it does work! It was just before my 3 month long motorbike trip, I bought this backpack cover. It was during the month of June, July and August I did this trip through Kerala, Hampi and through Konkan coast. It was the monsoon time!

Since I had this backpack cover, my 40ltr backpack remained dry throughout the trip. During heavy rains, I would first wear my raincoat,-obviously- and then the backpack with this cover. The hood of this cover would go under my helmet. Not a single drop of water did enter inside my bag! During drizzling conditions you dont actually need a raincoat if you have this cover. I have highly recommended this product to whoever came to me with that curious question. Well at times it does look a bit strange, a big yellow bulge which isnt actually a raincoat! Provided the fact that I was planning to buy a Quechua backpack cover which is almost similarly priced without a hood, I am totally satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend this product and would love to try out other Gipfel products too. I am stoked to see an Indian company entering the adventure gear territory and going strong. All the best guys.
